Hi, my name is DeSimone.
It’s now Day 11 since the storm, and with temperatures between 10–25°F all week, snow left on and around vehicles has packed down, hardened, and turned into ice.
If your vehicle is stuck due to hardened snow or ice buildup around the tires, curb, or underneath, I can help.
After a storm, snow doesn’t just stay snow. When it freezes, slightly melts in the sun, then refreezes, it bonds to concrete and turns into solid ice. At this stage, it must be carefully chipped and broken down in sections to weaken it and release it safely.
Not all ice can be removed immediately. In some cases, snow and ice around the tires must be allowed to loosen naturally, and the vehicle may need to be moved slightly to release buildup safely. Chipping aggressively between rims or hubcaps can damage rims, crack caps, or cause scratches, so this work requires care, patience, and control.
I provide careful, post-storm vehicle dig-out service using hand tools to free your vehicle without damaging it or the surrounding surface.
